At the end of Monday, the most painful day of the week, I feel relieved that I got through the day without being filled with homework. However, there's something that is secretive going on, the Halloween decoration! It may seems fun for people other than the members of art crew because they can just enjoy the result. With the start of this annual event, art crews, especially senior ones, have to work extremely hard to finish the the decoration while keeping our grades up. I wish everything will go through smoothly and happily.

Even though it's Sunday today, I still worked all day long to finish school assignment. After digging in piles and piles of works, I finally come back to my sweet home. Seating on my bed exhausted, I think back those "good old days". I remember I had fun and entertaining weekends with movies, theme parks and nice restaurants. Now, I can only bitterly enjoy my enriching weekends with homework, exams and cold sandwiches. I hope all these hard works will pay off in the future because they are now really quite torturing that I literally feel I have no time for any break. At this point, the only thing I can do is praying for a better tomorrow.

After a long and sweaty preparation, all the art students were all ready to show our best to the officer from admission department of School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Unfortunately, we got a really bad news from the office that the admission officer is not coming because he was stuck in Hong Kong Airport. Suddenly, all of our hard work this afternoon worth nothing. Even worse, Pamela went in and began yelling at everyone. After the tragedy ended, I dragged my exhausted body home, fell into my bed, and realized I still have a lot of homework to do. What a miserable day.

Again, another busy day. However, all the art students are so nervous about the next coming day because it will determine a bit of our future. Tomorrow, School of Institute of Chicago is coming to our school and check our portfolios, which is the most important part for an art student's application. As tension goes up and up, we all gathered in the art room, busy working on our "masterpieces". The critical moment is coming and we are all ready. I hope the meeting tomorrow will go through safely and soundly!

After a long weekend break, we, hard working students, came back to the school and goes back on track our way through another long day. Today, as usual, we rushed into the door with breakfast in our mouths at the last second before bell rang. As soon as only the second week of school after summer vocation, I've already had my first two tests in my history classes. Also, with the coming college application and AP exams, I feel a bit tired exhausted but exited. I know that these challenges will stimulate and motivate me to enhance my ability of not only finishing the work but also dealing with pressure.

After finishing a series of hard working on school works and college application, I finally had a bit of time to take a moment give myself a break. Today, I went to a remarkable art exhibition about package design, photography, fashion design, and model making at Huashan Creative Park in Taipei. Before seeing the show, I didn't expect it to be in such a large scale that it's like a festival. The arrangement of the show is like a mysterious maze waiting for people to explore. The artworks at the show not only opened my eye but also inspired me that I just wanted to pick up my brush and start painting!! I had a wonderful and unforgettable experience today. Unfortunately, it's now the time to go back to work again.

In Taiwan, people celebrate moon festival every year. On the day of this spectacular holiday, family members come back home and get together, BBQ together, eat pommel and moon cakes together, and view the roundest moon of the year together. Today, one day before the actual moon festival, my family and I barbecued for dinner and for the first time of the year, all of us finally had a relaxing time talking to each other. At that moment, I could eventually put all the annoying triviality behind me and purely enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the festival and pleasant intimacy with my family. Even though the same next year I'll not be able to accompany my family that I'll be far away studying, I'll still be looking at the same moon with them and think back a year, when we had so much precious time together.
